How is GoIndiaTours able to offer such competitive prices?
We spend your money providing an authentic experience & pass on the savings on to you with our low prices. We leave many other activities as options, to provide you the freedom and flexibility to choose what you want to do on a daily basis.
What is the best time to visit India?
The coolest weather lasts from November to mid-March, with cool, fresh mornings and evenings and dry, sunny days.
However with special interests, like honeymoon, wildlife, theme tours; you are welcomed anytime.
What kind of clothes would be acceptable here?
Shorts, minis and tank tops are unadvisable unless you're on a beach. In small towns and cities especially, people may tend to stare if you expose too much skin. Safe clothing would be trousers, peddle pushers, capris, skirts, tops and shirts.
May I ask for tailormade itinerary ?
Yes, you can ask for it.
What is Indian Time zone?
It is + 0530 GMT
Can I use Foreign Currency in India?
No, you can't use Foreign Currency in India directly, you need to change it through bank or authorize money changer into Indian rupees.
Is monument fees included in the cost ?
No, it's not included in the package cost and supplement is given separately for that.
What is the maximum weight allowed on domestic flights?
The normal weight limit is 15 kilogram's.
What about payment terms?
This depending on the services you may require. But normally, we need a token payment in advance (10% of token payment). The balance 90% can be paid on arrival. Amount can be paid through bank transfer (before arrival) credit card, traveler’s cheques or cash.
What about cancellation policy?
We shall charge you only what is charged by principal suppliers i.e. airlines, railways or hotels, etc besides nominal cancellation fee. We can let you know at the time of reservation as what services and how much cancellation would be applicable.
How will I meet your representative on arrival in India?
You will meet our representative at airport on arrival and he will hold a placard for identification. We shall also send you emergency 24 hours contact numbers on which you may contact any time in case of any problem.
Can I book extra nights of hotel accommodation before or after my tour?
Yes, in most cases we can arrange additional accommodation at our starting or ending hotels.
Can you provide me with a list of the hotels we will be staying at?
Starting and ending hotels are listed on your travel itinerary. We use a variety of hotels en-route and so a complete list of hotels won't be provided until day 1 of your tour.
Is tipping included in the package?
Tips are not included in the tour price and tipping is entirely at your discretion. In tourist restaurants or hotels a 10% service charge is often added to bills, in which case there is no need to tip. In smaller places, where tipping is optional, you need only tip a few rupees, not a percentage of your bill. It is customary to tip waiters, porters, guides and drivers.
How best can I get the flavor of a particular destination I visit in India?
