Tour Itinerary :

On arrival at Chennai airport, you will be assisted and transferred to the hotel. Check-in at your hotel. The day will be free at your discretion. Stay overnight in Chennai.

After breakfast visit Adeeswar Temple, Parthasarathy Temple, Kapaleeshwar Temple, and other temples. Spend the evening on the most popular Marina beach before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast leave for the holy city of Tirupati and after reaching check into a hotel. Visit the sacred Venkateswara Temple which is situated in the hill town of Tirumala. Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the temple is considered one of the eight ‘Swayambu Kshetras’ – a temple where the deity is believed to have manifested on its own. Stay overnight at Tirupati.

After breakfast leave for Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram. Visit the Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Ekambareswarar Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, and the renowned silk weaving factories of Kanchipuram. Proceed to Mahabalipuram and upon reaching check into a hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, explore this ancient town which houses a group of shore temples and shrines that are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visit the Thirukadalmallai Temple, the open-air rock relief Descent of the Ganges, Varaha Cave Temple, Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas, and Arjuna’s Penance. Spend the evening on the picturesque beach and visit the lighthouse to enjoy some spectacular views. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast leave for Tanjore and en route visit the Thillai Nataraja Temple which is located in Chidambaram. This temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the oldest temples in South India dating back to the 10th century when Chidambaram was the capital of the Chola dynasty. Proceed to Tanjore and upon reaching check into a hotel for an overnight stay.

Thanjavur, formerly known as Tanjore, is renowned for its ‘Great Living Chola Temples’ which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visit the Brihadeeswara Temple, Gangaikonda Cholesvarar Temple, and Airavatesvara Temple which are architectural masterpieces and pure form of Dravidian art forms. The city is considered the birthplace of several forms of arts and crafts in Southern India. Major styles of Bharathanatyam were developed here and the Carnatic music was also codified here. The world-famous Tanjore painting was also started here. Visit the artistic markets of the city before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, leave for Madurai and en route visit Tiruchirappalli which is popularly known as Trichy. Visit the Jambukeswarar Temple, Sri Rangnathaswamy Temple, Rockfort Temple, Samayapuram Mariamman Temple, and Erumbeeswarar Temple before proceeding to Madurai. After reaching the ancient city check into a hotel for an overnight stay.

Madurai is built around the revered Meenakshi Temple. After breakfast, visit this majestic ritual center which is located on the banks of the Vaigai River. Visit the Koodal Azhagar Temple, Pazhamudircholai Temple, Gandhi Memorial Museum, and Thirumalai Nayak Palace before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast leave for Rameshwaram, one of the holiest cities in the country, and after reaching check into a hotel. In the evening visit the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple which is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples of Lord Shiva. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast visit the Kothandaramar Temple, Gandhamathana Parvatham, and Dhanushkodi. Enjoy a Glass boat ride on the waters of Pamban Beach. The transparent flooring of the boat offers great views of the corals and marine life. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast leave for Kanyakumari and after reaching check into a hotel. Spend the rest of your evening at leisure before an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast visit the Thiruvalluvar Statue, Bhagavathy Amman Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Memorial Mandapam, Kamarajar Mani Mantapa Monument, and the Tsunami Memorial Park. Spend a peaceful evening at Muttom Beach before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Trivandrum Departure: After breakfast, you will be transferred to Trivandrum airport to board the flight back home. The tour ends.
